‘Cock-a-Doodle… I Mean, Quack-Quack’: Rooster Chills While Swimming in Water
18:00 GMT 25.01.2020 (Updated: 06:15 GMT 21.03.2022) Roosters are busy little beavers – besides waking us up with a “soothing” song, they have to do their tidbitting dance in order attract attention from hens. They also constantly watch over them, warning other chickens when there is a potential danger and protecting them from real ones. It’s no surprise then that this fellow decided to take a rest.
A video on Instagram shows a rooster relaxing after a hard day’s work and swimming in a lake as if he is a swan or a duck. The bird graciously moves in the water as if thinking: "now I understand why ducks are so cool and laid back. That’s it. I will return to the farm and tell the boss that I quit. Quack-Quack!"
