The US death toll from coronavirus infection has increased by 1,927 cases to 20,486, the country's Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said.
However, these figures are yet to be confirmed by the US state and territorial health officials since the official update of the nationwide coronavirus tally takes place on Monday.
According to Johns Hopkins University, the total number of COVID-19 cases in the US has exceeded 542,000, with more than 21,000 deaths.
