11:37 GMT 21.06.2020 (Updated: 11:40 GMT 21.06.2020) Cats are generally believed to be unaware of their own reflections in the mirror, confusing their reflected self with another feline - which can make them absolutely bonkers, before they realise that the "intruder" poses no threat and can be ignored.
A cute kitten has been filmed interacting with its own reflection in the mirror in a video posted on Twitter. The fluffball hilariously arches its back and charges at its "double", which, to the feline's confusion, attacks back. The kitten gets increasingly confused after it looks behind the mirror and sees no one there - much to its frustration but to amusement of Twitter users who found this bit particularly funny.
