The NYPD’s bomb squad has been called to the Empire State Building after someone called 911 and claimed a bomb would explode at the building at noon, according to a police spokesperson.
After the squad arrived at the site, it was determined that the report was unfounded and that the building was safe.

Earlier, this week an RV exploded outside an AT&T transmission building on Christmas morning in downtown Nashville, Tennessee, injuring at least three people. The Metro Nashville Police Department launched an investigation into the incident, as local officials believe the detonation was an "intentional" act. The Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives joined the investigation of the incident. Both US President Donald Trump and President-elect Joe Biden were briefed on the probe.
