SM Entertainment announced the comeback of one of EXO's main vocalists - Baekhyun - on 4 March through various media outlets. According to the announcement, the album will be released on 30 March.
Earlier this year, Baekhyun released his first Japanese mini-album “BAEKHYUN” with the lead single “Get You Alone”. It was certified as Gold by the Recording Industry Association of Japan. The artist also proved he deserved the nickname “Genius Idol” given to him by the media after holding an online-concert “Baekhyun: Light” that received 110,000 viewers from 120 countries.
In May 2020, Baekhyun released his second EP “Delight”, featuring the lead song "Candy” and the album entered the history of the Korean music industry as the most pre-ordered album ever in addition to surpassing one million physical album sales in just a month after release. The previous record was held by “Another Days” by Kim Gun-mo, which was for 19 years the best-selling album of all time in South Korea.
Fans are also expecting something from EXO as a band, as they will mark their 10th anniversary this year since their debut, as various outlets have hinted at a possible comeback and MV dedicated to the date.
