"A Palestinian minister, Walid Assaf, was wounded today by a rubber bullet in clashes with the Israeli army in the Ramallah area," WAFA reported.
According to the media, the minister was lightly injured in his ear by a rubber-coated bullet.
Last week, Tel Aviv approved the construction of several hundred of Jewish-only housing units in the West Bank settlements.

According to the Israeli NGO Peace, the number of settlements being constructed on the occupied territories of the West Bankincreased by 17 percent comparing to the yearly average of the past years.
Israel confiscated Palestinian lands in the occupied territories of the West Bank in order to build settlements, violating international law under UN Security Council Resolution 2334.
