Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov is meeting UN Special Envoy for Syria Geir O. Pedersen in Moscow this Thursday.
The two officials are expected to discuss the work of the Syria Constitutional Committee in Geneva, which is attempting to create conditions for a political solution under the mediation of Pedersen.
It's the first meeting after the committee suspended its work last week after several delegates tested positive for COVID-19.
