"The Ukrainian armed forces lost up to 745 servicemen, three pickup trucks [among other military losses in battles with Battlegroup Yug]," the MoD said in a statement.
Russia's Battlegroup Tsentr repelled eight counterattacks, eliminating up to 530 Ukrainian troops, the ministry said, adding that Russian Battlegroup Zapad repelled two counterattacks, eliminating over 500 Ukrainian soldiers.
Additionally, the Russian forces have liberated the Zavetnoye settlement in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).
