"Over the past day, the Ukrainian armed forces lost more than 200 people, four units of armored vehicles were destroyed, including a tank, an armored combat vehicle and two armored personnel carriers," the MoD said in a statement.
In total, Ukraine has lost more than 23,150 servicemen and 158 tanks during operations in the Kursk area, the ministry added.
Russia's Battlegroup Sever has repelled eight Ukrainian counterattacks near border settlements in the Kursk Region, the ministry said, adding that Kiev has lost up to 90 soldiers.
