Russia's FSB Unmasks British Spy Working in UK Embassy in Moscow

MOSCOW (Sputnik) - Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) announced on Thursday that it had identified an undeclared UK intelligence agent operating as a diplomatic staff member of the British Embassy.

"The Russian Federal Security Service, during the course of counterintelligence work, identified an undeclared employee of the UK special services, Gareth Samuel Davies, born on 08.08.1980, who was sent to Russia under the guise of second secretary of the administrative and economic department of the UK Embassy in Moscow," the FSB said in a statement.
According to its statement, the Russian Foreign Ministry, in coordination with the relevant agencies, decided to revoke the employee's accreditation, adding that he has been ordered to leave Russia within two weeks.
