Russian President Vladimir Putin and Iranian Supreme National Security Council Secretary Ali Larijani discussed the expansion of bilateral relations and issues in the Middle East, Iranian Ambassador to Russia Kazem Jalali said on Friday.
"The main topic of the talks was expanding bilateral relations, particularly economic ties between the two countries. At the same time, the two sides held consultations on important regional and international issues," the ambassador was quoted as saying by Iranian state broadcaster IRIB.
