Azaan Javaid is a Sputnik journalist based in Kashmir. He has worked in multiple Indian publications and newspapers since 2010 with a focus on India's internal security, investigations and the Kashmir conflict.
His past stints include Hindustan Times, DNA, Deccan Herald and The Statesman in New Delhi. Since 2018, Azaan has specifically focused on the regions of Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh, and worked for The Print as special correspondent.
