Hundreds of protesters gathered near the Israeli embassy in the British capital of London to support Palestinians in the latest escalation of violence on Saturday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – One of the speakers was heard expressing support for "victory to the Jerusalem intifada," while naming the United Kingdom and other European countries as the culpable parties in the Israeli-Palestinian violence.

"In our thousands, in our millions, we are all Palestinians," the crowd carrying placards and Palestinian flags chanted in an RT live feed of the rally goers.

A number of arrests among the demonstrators have been captured on video.

The organizers, the London Palestine Action network, listed 285 participants on their Facebook invitation page.

3 Palestinians Killed, Nearly 100 Wounded Amid 'Day of Rage'
In the third week of clashes, three Palestinians have been reported shot by Israeli security forces after stabbing attacks in Hebron, Jerusalem and Gaza on Saturday.

The death toll now stands at seven Israelis and over 40 Palestinians killed in knife, gun and car attacks across the Gaza Strip, the West Bank and East Jerusalem since the beginning of October.

On Friday, the newly appointed Israeli ambassador to the United Nations blamed Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas for inciting violence among the Palestinian youth.

At the heart of the latest escalation lies Palestine’s suspicion of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s revision of the status-quo at the Temple Mount complex that houses the Al-Aqsa mosque. Current rules governing the religious shrine prevent non-Muslims from worshiping at the site, but Israeli forces conduct regular raids citing the need to protect Jewish sightseers.
