Contracts worth more than $6.18 billion were signed during the International Economic Forum in St. Petersburg, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said on Saturday.
Medvedev added that the signed contracts did not include the dozen or so Russian-French contracts that were agreed on at the forum but will be signed later.
"We should be satisfied with the work of the forum that had 4,000 participants, including 700 companies from more than 100 countries," Medvedev said.
Medvedev said he hoped the Russian-French contracts would be signed during bilateral talks with French President Nicolas Sarkozy, who is also in St. Petersburg, on the sidelines of the forum.
The annual St. Petersburg International Economic Forum will end on Saturday.
