Iran has successfully test fired a short-range Fateh 110 (Conqueror) missile, Isna news agency reported on Wednesday.
The third-generation Fateh 110-class missile is an indigenous product, designed and built entirely by Iran. The missile "has no analogue anywhere in the world," Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier Gen. Ahmad Vahidi said.
"The missile's guiding and control system helps it hit targets with precision," he said.
According to some media reports, the Fateh 110 has a range of 150-200 kilometers.
The minister said missile deliveries to the Iranian Armed Forces would start "in the coming weeks."
