The tightrope was stretched between two cranes at about 50 meters above the water. It stretched across the river near the Andreevsky Bridge from the Frunze Embankment to the Pushkin Embankment near Gorky Park.
Freddy Nock was unable to walk the cable across the river. Its violent swaying almost threw Nock into the drink, forcing him to return to the starting point.
