BRUSSELS, March 26 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's software exports exceeded $1.5 billion in 2006, the Russian ambassador to Belgium said Monday.
Vadim Lukov said the Russian software market is one of the most dynamically developing markets in the world.
"In 2006, Russia's software exports amounted to more than $1.5 billion, with annual growth rates of 30-40% in 2002-2006," Lukov told an investment conference on cooperation between Russian and Belgian software producers and distributors in Brussels.
The conference participants said the issue is topical due to the rapid development of software in Russia and the growing interest of Belgian producers in the Russian market for computer technologies.
