MOSCOW, July 27, 2007 (RIA Novosti) - Alexander Voloshin has been re-elected board chairman at Russian electricity monopoly Unified Energy System, the company said in a press release Friday.
The decision was taken at the first session of the new board elected at an annual shareholder meeting June 26, 2007. Russian Industry and Energy Minister Viktor Khristenko was appointed deputy chairman of the board.
Voloshin was presidential chief of staff from 1999 until his resignation October 29, 2003. He has been UES board chairman since 1999.
