Two more Russian top officials - the head of Federal Tax Service and a deputy transport minister - joined the list of Russian officials with the highest income in 2009, after filing their taxes several weeks late, a Russian business daily said.

Mikhail Mishustin and Valery Okulov apparently were among Russian officials who did not publish their income declarations before May 14, the deadline set by a presidential decree, Vedomosti said.

Mishustin, who became the head of the tax service in April, declared that his income accounted for 78.6 million rubles ($2.5 million) in 2009. The total income of Mishustin and his wife was 96.5 million rubles ($3.1 million).

Okulov estimated his income at 59.3 million rubles ($1.9 million), which is $1.2 million more than the income of his boss, Transport Minister Igor Levitin, who earned $700,000 in 2009. Okulov refused to disclose to the paper where his income came from.

The Russian minister of natural resources and ecology, Yuri Trutnev, leads the rating of Russian officials with the highest income in 2009, with a declared income of 155.1 million rubles ($5 million).
