MOSCOW, October 2 (RIA Novosti) – A group of unidentified persons fired at the Russian Embassy in the Libyan capital on Wednesday and attempted to break in, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Moscow radio.
“According to preliminary reports, no one among the Russian personnel has been injured,” Maria Zakharova, deputy director of the ministry’s press and information department, said in comments to radio station Ekho Moskvy.
“We are working to clarify the details of what has happened,” she added.
