Irish voters have backed the EU fiscal pact, early unofficial results showed, The Irish Times said.
Results from count centers so far show the EU fiscal treaty referendum has been passed by the Irish electorate.
According to results received at the central count centre in Dublin Castle to date, 60.6 percent voted Yes, while 39.4 per cent voted No, when spoiled or invalid votes are excluded.
Turnout was about 52 per cent.
Only 12 of the 17 eurozone members are required to ratify the treaty, which sets strict limits for eurozone countries' budget deficits.
