The event, hosted by Yad Vashem of the World Holocaust Remembrance Centre, is organised by the World Holocaust Forum Foundation, established in 2005 after the First International Holocaust Forum in the Polish city of Krakow.

Russian President Vladimir Putin arrives at Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv for the 5th World Holocaust Forum.

The Fifth World Holocaust Forum will begin later on Thursday, 23 January. Dozens of world leaders are coming to the city of Jerusalem to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz concentration and extermination camp and declare zero-tolerance against antisemitism and Holocaust denial.
