The European Parliament is holding a virtual meeting on the situation in Afghanistan. According to a statement posted on its website, the event will be attended by the Delegation for Relations with Afghanistan as well as the Committee on Foreign Affairs.The attendees are likely to discuss ways to establish a dialogue with the Taliban as well as ways to evacuate Europeans and Afghans from the war-stricken country. Despite painstaking efforts, which saw NATO countries airlift over 122,000 people out of Afghanistan, several hundred individuals still remain stranded in Afghanistan.

situation in Afghanistan. According to a statement posted on its website, the event will be attended by the Delegation for Relations with Afghanistan as well as the Committee on Foreign Affairs.
