TBILISI, January 5th, 2004 (RIA Novosti correspondent) - Georgian ex-president Eduard Shevardnadze is ready to co-operate with presidential candidate Mikhail Saakashvili. Shevardnadze said this to newsmen on Monday.
"On January 4th, I voted for Saakashvili. He is a smart and strong personality but he needs more political experience," said Shevardnadze.
In his words, he is ready to co-operate with Saakashvili and give him useful advice, if need be.
