"Jordanian political authorities support the intention of Russian business to occupy a niche in Jordan with the following progress on the regional market," the press-release, signed by Russian Ambassador to Jordan Aleksander Shein, reads.
Jordan got the rights to participate in the Iraqi postwar settlement in the range from participation in the water-management projects to equipping the new Iraqi Armed Forces, the memorandum, signed by US Under Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz on December 5, 2003, states.
