MOSCOW, January 15, 2004. (RIA Novosti) - On Thursday Russian First Deputy Foreign Minister state secretary Valery Loshchinin met Aslan Abashidze, the leader of Adzharia, an autonomous republic in Georgia.
"They focused on the development of trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian relations between the Russian Federation constituent members and Georgia's regions," the press and information department of the Russian Foreign Ministry told RIA Novosti.
