MOSCOW, January 16 (RIA Novosti) - The population's trust in the national currency has been restored, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov told a State Duma plenary session.
The prime minister believes that the dependency of the Russian economy on the situation on external markets is reducing at a slow pace.
"The economy is in a raw materials-exportation trap, we still live according to the model of a raw materials exporting country, despite a certain improvement of the situation," the premier said.
