He said that on Tuesday he met with former American Defence Secretary William Cohen. For three years in a row he has been holding in Florida international meetings of future leaders of the third millennium.
"We have agreed that two such get-togethers will be held this year, one in Florida and the other in a city in Russia's north-west," Mikhail Margelov said.
"The composition of the American and Russian delegations at the meeting is going to be very interesting. Representatives, Republican senators, Democrats, big businessmen, representatives of non-governmental organisations are willing to participate," he said.
Mikhail Margelov also said that the list of participants is being finalised. "Today we have agreed upon a timeframe for events and the text of the invitation, which William Cohen and I have undersigned. Now we begin to send invitations to potential American and Russian participants," said the Russian senator.
