From the airport, the president will fly helicopter to the village of Shemursha about 20 km from Cheboksary. In the village, the head of state will visit a dwelling house built under the program of the social development of the countryside. Under this program, housing with a total floor space of 1,677 sq m was built in the village last year. This made it possible to improve the housing conditions of 42 families. After visiting the dwelling house, Vladimir Putin will also examine a rural model library - a multi-functional information-cultural and education-enlightenment center. Its aim is to improve the provision of the rural population with information.
After the visit to the rural model library, a conference on the sustained and compressive development of rural areas will be held in the building of the administration of the Shemursha district. Then the president will return to Cheboksary. In the capital of Chuvashia, the president will visit a handicrafts exhibition.
