GROZNY, February 6. (RIA Novosti correspondent) - A Russian Interior Ministry soldier was killed when a terrorist bomb exploded in the Grozny district in Chechnya, the headquarters of the Joint Group of Forces in the North Caucasus told RIA Novosti.
"The incident occurred yesterday [February 5] around 12:15 p.m. [Moscow time] near the village of Prigorodnoe. While on guard, a solider detonated an unidentified explosive," a source said.
The soldier was seriously wounded and died at the scene.
