MOSCOW, FEBRUARY 6, 2004. (RIA NOVOSTI) - The daughter of Javier Solana, European Union High Commissioner for Common Foreign and Security Policy, is currently employed in Moscow. No news of her has reached the Spanish Embassy or the anguished father, the embassy said.

Mr. Solana is badly worried about the girl with this morning's Moscow metro blast, people close to him told RIA Novosti.

The blast, in the south part of Moscow's center, killed 39, and more than a hundred have been put to hospital, say the latest reports.
