MOSCOW, February 8, 2004. (RIA Novosti) - Russia's President Vladimir Putin signed a federal law to amend the federal Mortgage Law, report Kremlin PR.
A supplementary clause authorises farm plot mortgaging. Another amendment rules out misinterpretation of the Mortgage Law, Clause 63, in its acting version. Farmland, and government and municipal landed property are now quitting a list of lands not for mortgaging.
