MOSCOW, February 8, 2004. (RIA Novosti correspondent Nikolai Makarov) - The Central Election Commission has registered presidential hopeful Sergei Glazyev for further campaigning after a thorough check of his self-nomination procedure compliance and of public signatures in his support.
Commission experts detected a number of forged signatures, so the commission determined to send in a file to the federal Prosecutor General's office for his officers to re-check the issue, track down culprits, and take proper measures.
