MOSCOW, FEBRUARY 16. /RIA NOVOSTI / -- Uzbekistani national Yusup Kasimakhunov, seen by the Uzbek National Security Service as a leader of the terrorist organisation Hizb at-Tahrir al-Islami, has been detained in Russia, said the press service of the FSB Board for Moscow and the region.
In February 2000 the Interior Ministry of Uzbekistan put Kasimakhunov on international wanted list for terrorism.
