MOSCOW, February 19, 2004. (RIA Novosti) - The Gazprom and the Beltransgaz, Russia's and Belarus' central gas companies, have not yet settled a dispute raging round Russian gas exports to Belarus and to third countries via it.
Alexei Miller, Gazprom Board President, received Petr Petukh, Beltransgaz Director General, at the main company office in Moscow today. The negotiators exchanged opinions on problems round Russian gas exports to, and transits via Belarus. They agreed to resume, within a few days, negotiations for respective intercorporate contracts, Gazprom PR say in a press release circulated tonight.
