According to the Administration's press service, the Week's program includes a festival of Japanese cinema, master classes in Japan's traditional arts and sports, as well as special functions for promotion of bilateral business contacts.
Kamchatka residents will be able to appreciate Japanese films ("Sound of the Sea", "Flower in the Wind", "Wolf at Bay", "Sword", "Quartet for Two", "Everything about our House" and "Flame") and listen to Japan's pop music.
The Week of Japanese Culture also features master classes in ikebana, origami, calligraphy, the game of Go, and karate. In addition, the festival's organizers plan to hold a number of thematic lectures, symposia and seminars.
