ASTANA, February 25, 2004. (RIA Novosti) - Kazakhstan believes that the dismissal of Kasyanov's government will not influence bilateral relations.

"One government logically succeeds another, preserving principles of continuity and relations, included in agreements which were signed by heads of state," Kazakhstan's Prime Minister Danial Akhmetov told journalists in Astana.

The premier is "absolutely convinced" that Russian-Kazakh relations in political and economic spheres will be consolidating.
