AFRICAN MEDICAL STUDENT KILLED. RUSSIA'S FOREIGN MINISTRY KEEPS WATCH ON DETECTION

MOSCOW, February 25, 2004. (RIA Novosti) - A foreign student found a violent death close to his dorm, February 21, in Voronezh, provincial centre in Central Russia's south. Russia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs is closely monitoring detection in contact with regional authorities.

The police and regional and municipal administrations are doing all they can to investigate, and track down the murderers, reassure ministerial PR.

Amaro Antonio Lima, 24, of Guinea-Bissau, second-year student of the Voronezh State Medical Academy, was killed on the campus. The regional prosecutor's office has launched criminal proceedings.
