ABU DHABI, February 29, 2004 (RIA Novosti) - Russian tennis player Svetlana Kuznetsova was beaten in the Dubai Open final by Justine Henin-Hardenne, the world-leading tennis player from Belgium.
The Belgian player won 7-6, 6-3.
On Friday, Kuznetsova, who is the 29th on the Women's Tennis Association rating, scored a victory over Japanese Ai Sugiyama, who is the eighth on the rating.
This is Henin-Hardenne's second victory at the Dubai Open with its $585,000 of prize money.
