"Unfortunately, I am not well acquainted with Mikhail Fradkov, but our few meetings and the work in tax bodies and the Russian mission in the European Union show that this is a serious and thoughtful man. I hope for productive cooperation with him," Boris Alyoshin told journalists in the Russian Government House.
According to the acting Vice Premier, he has got some ideas concerning the new government structure and he is going to submit them to the new Prime Minister.
On the one hand, the government reform is to reduce its functions and, on the other hand, to reinforce and redistribute the remaining ones, Alyoshin said. Several functions, first of all, supervision, will be delegated to the regions during the administrative reform, he added.
