ASTANA, MARCH 2. /RIA NOVOSTI / -- Kazakhstan is imposing a temporarily ban on the import of poultry and poultry farming products from Canada and the American state Texas, said the press service of the Agricultural Ministry of Kazakhstan.
The ban is due to the International Epizootic Bureau saying that Texas and Canada have registered cases of highly pathogenic poultry flu.
The ban in Kazakhstan will be in effect until a special instruction.
