MOSCOW, March 10, 2004 - RIA Novosti. The Moscow authorities plan to erect a monument to the Teacher in the Russian capital. As Lyubov Kezina, the head of the Education Department of Moscow told to newsmen the issue of a Monument of Glory to the Teacher as well as the planting of an alley of the city's famous teachers are being elaborated by them.
According to Kezina, there are enough interesting places in Moscow where such a monument could be installed and an alley planted. In particular, one of the squares in the city's center was suggested for this purpose.
Kezina said that a competition for the best project of the monument was announced among Moscow architects.
