MOSCOW, March 11, 2004. (RIA Novosti). Preliminary results of the presidential elections will be known by 5 a.m. on March 15, head of the Russian Central Election Commission Alexander Veshnyakov told Golos Rossii radio station on Thursday.
By this time we shall receive data from 90 per cent of polling stations all over Russia, he said.
The very first data will be received at 21.00 on March 14, when the last polling stations will close in the Kaliningrad region, Russia's most western region on the Baltic Sea, Veshnyakov added.
