MOSCOW, March 11, 2004. (RIA Novosti). Russian State Duma Speaker Boris Gryzlov has sent a telegram to Luisa Fernanda Rudi, the chairperson of the Spanish Congress of Deputies, offering condolences in connection with tragic events in Madrid, terrorist acts with a great number of casualties, said the State Duma public relations department.
This tragedy again proves the necessity to joint counter-terrorist efforts of the international community, including parliamentarians, reads Gryzlov's telegram.
Boris Gryzlov offered condolences on behalf of State Duma deputies to relatives and friends of the victims and everyone who suffered in terrorist acts.
