MOSCOW, March 12, 2004. (RIA Novosti). Vice Prime Minister Alexander Zhukov will hold the first session of the inter-departmental commission to distribute the functions between the federal bodies of executive authority on Friday, the government information department told journalists.
The decision to create the commission was adopted on Thursday at the first session of the new government.
The commission headed by Mr. Zhukov will include representatives of federal ministries, the presidential and government staffers.
The commission has been instructed to prepare, within a two-week period of time, proposals with draft regulatory-legal acts on the distribution of functions between federal bodies of executive authority.
It should also submit proposals on the maximum number of workers and the labour remuneration fund in ministries, services and agencies.
