BAKU, MARCH 22, (RIA NOVOSTI). Sheikh Ahmad Yassin, leader of the HAMAS terrorist organisation, has died by Israeli military's hand. Sheikh Allah-Shukyur Pasha-zadeh, head of the Muslim Board for the Caucasus, is indignant.
"Sheikh Ahmad Yassin enjoyed a tremendous influence in Palestine and throughout the Muslim world. I denounce his murder, and think his death will have a detrimental impact on Mideastern developments," he says in a statement circulated today.
