Under the deal, to go into force June 1, 2004, all flights between Moscow and Hong Kong shall be carried out by Aeroflot-operated Boeings 767, with a certain number of seats on each flight reserved for Cathey Pacific. Aeroflot's summer schedule for this year envisages six Hong Kong-bound flights per week.
Aeroflot has code-sharing agreements with twenty other foreign air carriers, including Czech, Polish, Hungarian, French, and Australian. The company operates regular flights to 88 destinations in 42 countries across the world. In 2003, as many as 5.8 million passengers used its services.
Cathay Pacific provides flights to Asia, Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Middle East, and North America. Its fleet consists of 86 aircraft.
