MOSCOW, March 24, 2004. (RIA Novosti). Aeroflot has been invited to join the Sky Team international alliance, general director of Aeroflot - Russian Airlines Valery Okulov told journalists on Wednesday.
"If Aerfolot joins the alliance, our additional incomes will amount to $20 million a year," Mr. Okulov said.
According to him, Sky Team proposed Aeroflot to join the alliance in January already. Today Aeroflot heads are examining this proposal, Valery Okulov noted.
Sky Team unites the following companies: Air France, Delta Airlines, Aeromexico, Alitalia, CAS and Korean Air.
