SOCHI, March 27, 2004. (RIA Novosti) - Russian President Vladimir Putin is convinced that the Abkhaz problem has no military solution.
According to him, a military solution can lead to nothing but the aggravation of the situation and can enlarge the gap between Georgia and Abkhazia.
Both sides should acknowledge lawful interests of each other. "I think that this is possible," Vladimir Putin told journalists on Saturday.
