"There are serious grounds to think that the religious extremist organisation Hizb ut-Tahrir and wahhabites are involved in these crimes", Rashid Kadyrov said answering a RIA Novosti question.
At the briefing in Tashkent, the Uzbek prosecutor general said that the analysis of operative information enables the conclusion that the crimes which have been committed in Uzbekistan in the last 24 hours are "links in the same chain and are aimed at destabilising the country".
According to Rashid Kadyrov, the terrorist acts have killed 19 people, including six policemen, and wounded 26 people.
The prosecutor general voiced confidence that "the members and leaders of this band of terrorists, guilty of the death of innocent people, would be established and taken to responsibility in line with the law".
